LinkedIn follow button: Who’s following who?

LinkedIn have introduced the “Follow Company” button that you can add to your website, blog, email signature, wherever you want to share it. Thanks LinkedIn!

So why would you want to follow a company?

  1. Industry intelligence
  2. Interested in career opportunities at that company (great for recruiters)
  3. Keep up to date with their posts
  4. Handy to see who is following who if you’re simply nosy

Take a look how to use the follow button with this short video, and you can access the developers area for the follow button here or you can follow Blue Banana here.

LinkedIn follow buttons do not work from e-mail signatures – unfortunately they priovide no simple URL for the follow option, only scripts that will not work in most mail readers.
